“I AM 3 YEARS OLDER THAN MY FIANCEE”- PATIENCE NAMADINGO SPEAKS OUT
Soon after Patience Namadingo engagement images made rounds circulating in whatsapp groups, as usual, most Malawians gave mixed reactions. While others congratulated Namadingo, some said Namadingo’s fiancée was older than him. As the image went viral in group with rumours, Gospel musician “Patience Namadingo” went ahead to clear the rumours on his social media page by making the post below.
“After they all had finished listening to one of their long time friends and once Namadingo’s manager Tonderai Jai Banda, then the owner of the house said,
“ ha ha ha now listen and listen carefully, I remember just 22 days before my 29th birthday
that’s when i got engaged to this 26 year old young woman
it was a small function with a total of about 100 people who were close family and friends,
our parents had a good time and so did uncles and aunts, we really had made our life intentions more than clear in the eyes of those who had kept us and still were responsible for us both, a few hours later we had our pictures circulating on social media like bushfire, this was not because they were just engagement pictures but Namadingo was now engaged and that in those days was hot news, infarct that was just before I had left Malawi for Europe where I was to tour in England & IRELAND if you remember, Tondera?
Others sent to me the low quality pictures and a mini video clip of me dancing with my Rehanna as thou I was not the one in the picture, amwano anamwanulanso pompo mmmh ndipo inu, amafuno abwino anandifunilanso zabwino, on the 3rd day ngati ndauka kwa akufa, I took it to facebook to tell everyone that October 2020 was the wedding month, I even made a post with a good quality picture with a kiss in it sinanga all the other pictures i had seen never had as compared to the unofficial pictures that had made rounds on social media, I tell you it was news, ma likes okhao eeee mpaka anafika masuzande anganti kaya, akati wawawawawawa ma likes amenewo,
